Our friends John & Merrilee sent us a package in December, but the post office lost it. The post office called me the other day and said they found it. Sam looks like he's happy they found it. It's a monkey in memory of Heather. I'll post a picture of Martin the Monkey later. (Another monkey he got over Christmas is named Marty.)
Sam and I went for a walk.
This footsie makes my eyes go dizzy with the contrasting blue and red, but I still like it.
Sam finally moved into his own room. He has a big new space to enjoy, and we have our bedroom back!
We went for a walk and saw this bird. I guess it's a common bird, but I'm not sure what it is. It has a yellow belly and was quite small.
Here's Leona, Sam, and I on our walk. John's taking the picture. The house is one of many of the high-end houses on the other side of the bridge. It's a great neighborhood to walk in for looking at nice lawns and pretty homes.

Sam is wearing a sweater that Maemae knitted for him. He looks like a little gentleman. The red buttons are a perfect fit.
I was asking John if he wanted to include face cleanser in an order, and on the spur of the moment, Tim thought up this funny demonstration of what he thought I said: face plunger.
Tim did it the first time with a straight face, but it took 3 takes to get it on video.

Onesie #2. We'll see how many other ones we'll change him into today. This one was from Maemae; she loves alphabets. If you can't see it, the letters are in a different color and say I heart U. So cute! Unfortunately, he's outgrowing the 0-3 month size very quickly.
We bundled up John and Sam together for a walk in the snow. Sam's in a front pack, and John zipped up his coat around Sam to keep him toasty.
The walk was very nice. It was cold, but above freezing. The snow was quite slushy and wet. We walked to the post office and mailed our Christmas cards and the baby announcements. Look for yours in the mail very soon!
